These images are mosaics of several different products. Some are high accuracy digital ortho photographs from various data providers. The 1934 image is made from scans of smaller mosaic tiles, which were created by cutting and pasting paper photographs over old USGS topographic maps, which were scanned and then geocorrected by students at MAGIC as part of a project with The Connecticut State Library. Due to the coarse horizontal accuracy, locations in the 1934 mosaic should be considered approximate relative to other orthographically correct images. Seven images representing the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs between 1941 and 1995 are available to view in honor of the 125th Anniversary of the University of Connecticut. Particular thanks to Ben Spaulding for completing the georeferencing of these using ER Mapper.
